Webinar "Seeing Development Through Generations: Gender, Photography & Dialogue"

Stichting NICC’s webinar ‘Seeing Development Through Generations: Gender, Photography & Dialogue’ organized by Joosje Seeling, Sofiia Berdiugina and Iris Dijkstra took place on Friday 21st of February. After a brief introduction on the activities of NICC, Iris discussed the changes done to the Gender Glossary, which is part of the Gender timeline, and consequently presented the different dynamics at stake in the process of updating the glossary. Following, Joosje presented the second part of the webinar, which involved the discussion about different perceptions on photographs in ‘development cooperation’. Everyone present actively took part in the discussion, leading to new insights how different people can experience and perceive the same photographs in a variety of ways. It was a very fruitful webinar and we hope to facilitate these more often at Stichting NICC!
